You can install Room Arranger on your Windows server, or Citrix server, and let other computers run it from there. This page describes how Room Arranger stores its configuration.
App configuration is stored in c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Room Arranger\config.ini
It means it should be available to user when he/she logs in at any computer. The problem may be that also the registration details (serial number) are stored in this file, per-user. If you want all users start with centrally preset serial number, purchased once as a multi-license,
c:\Users\username\Documents\Room Arranger\regbak.rrg
. This file was created automatically as a backup, and contains only the registration details.regbak.rrg
to the server directory next to installed Room Arranger executable.Your company should purchase as many licenses as number of (client) computers on which Room Arranger will be running at the same time. If you purchase additional licenses later and want to use only centrally managed registration details as above, please contact us, and we will generate new serial number for you.
It is also possible to automatize Room Arranger installation to computers in your network. The installer supports command line switch that will suppress all dialog windows and installs the application silently.
rooarr759.exe /S
To preset the registration details to all such installations, use the similar way as described above. The difference is in the 3rd step. All users on that computer will have preregistered copy of Room Arranger available.
c:\Users\username\Documents\Room Arranger\regbak.rrg
. This file was created automatically as a backup, and contains only the registration details.regbak.rrg
to all Program Files (x86)\Room Arranger
on client computers.
